|
The softest, the lightest and the most luxurious wool mother nature gives us, comes from the high Himalaya. The Capra Hircus, locally called Chyangra, lives between 3000 and 4000 meters. The precious fiber is hand gathered. It has to be combed under the thicker layer of the goat. This light white fiber is unique and protects the goat from the significant temperature changes that are present at such altitudes.

Pashmina is hand-woven by skilled Nepali craftsmen in to wonderful shawls. Lighter and of higher quality than Cashmere, Pashmina wool is used for unique products.

Nowadays, the word Pashmina has been too frequently misused to designate products containing everything but Pashmina. The real Pashmina comes from Nepal and is only made of Pashmina wool and silk.
